Unlike larger companies, he understood the specific pest pressures of Myrtle Beach – from persistent palmetto bugs and subterranean termites to the swarms of mosquitoes and sand gnats that thrive in our sandy soils and salt marshes. Jake built Myrtle Beach Pest Control on the principles of local expertise and a commitment to effective, responsible pest management. Jake founded Myrtle Beach Pest Control in 2011 after growing up in Conway and spending 15 years in the pest control industry along the Grand Strand. A licensed SC pest control operator and ACE Certified Entomologist, he built MBPC on the belief that local knowledge matters — understanding coastal humidity, sandy soils, and subtropical pest pressures is what separates a good technician from a great one. Jake personally handles complex jobs and leads the team with a hands-on approach.
