Eastern chipmunk

Eastern chipmunks are small, ground-dwelling rodents with reddish-brown fur and distinct dark and light stripes along their backs. They have bushy tails and prominent cheek pouches used for carrying food. These petite members of the squirrel family are typically 5 to 6 inches long, excluding their tail.
